Black Creek Paddle & Clean-out Leader: Russ Faller 845-297-5126 (before 9:30 PM) or email@example.com
Help us with our annual clean-out of the Black Creek in the Town of Lloyd. Mid-Hudson ADK has been maintaining this beautiful watertrail each year since we helped the Lloyd Environmental Conservation Council open it in the 1990s. We’ll spend a few hours of typically light water trail maintenance, then take an optional pleasure paddle on the creek. Bring canoes/kayaks, paddling gear, lunch, water & tools such as loppers, saws, rope, garbage bags, work gloves. If you don’t have these tools, leader can provide loaners. If you don’t have a boat, leader can loan you one. Contact him.
Meet at 10 AM in the parking area on the SW side of the bridge over the Black Creek on Rt. 299 in Ulster County. (Look for sign announcing Black Creek Launch.) This is about 6 mi. E of New Paltz, NY, or about 1 mi. W of the junction of Rtes. 9W & 299.
RSVP with leader to let him know you’re coming and to confirm that clean-out is on.
