Leader: Roger Green

We had good luck with cool crisp weather for our hike from Roaring Kill to Pecoy Notch. Many people overlook this pretty hike unless they are aiming to summit Twin or Sugarloaf Mountains. Our hike gave us 750 feet elevation gain over four miles for a light workout. By skipping the mountain summits we could take our time and enjoy a flowing brook, small waterfalls just off trail, bluestone chairs in Dibbles Quarry with stunning views of Roundtop and Kaaterskill High Peak, a little known off-trail rock overhang, and a beaver pond. We had a fun, friendly group with SueM, SharronC, SherriG, StaceyE, RachelleG, SharonK and the leader, Roger Green.
