We Are Building a Water Trail on the Fishkill Creek

The Adirondack Mtn. Club (ADK), Mid-Hudson Chapter has been clearing the Fishkill Creek for a water trail from Glenham, NY, to Hopewell Junction, NY, for several years now.  The Fishkill Creek is a treasure in a densely populated area.  There are many reaches that are entirely wooded, giving the paddler the sensation of being in a remote place.  The paddler often sees Great Blue Herons, a lot of other water fowl and turtles.  Fishing is good on the creek.
Every year in the Spring, we have an introductory paddle on the Fishkill Creek to introduce paddlers to this water trail in-the-making.  Please join us.
