This year we are again merging our PaddleFest energies with Kenco and Kingston Parks & Recreation for the Kingston Kayak Festival. There will be activities for first-time paddlers, as well as for experienced paddlers.

  • You can test paddle the newest kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddleboards on the market.  Beginners can take a guided tour (kayaks and gear provided).
  • Experienced paddlers can bring their own boats and gear and take a more advanced guided tour.
  • Clinics, lessons and demonstrations.  It will be a day of fun in the sun on Kingston’s sandy beach by the Hudson River.

Bring your friends and family, including the kids.  Kenco will offer discounts on kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, cartop racks and paddling gear.  There will also be a used gear sale.  You can buy food there or bring a picnic.

Admission is $10 and is a donation to environmental programs of the Forsyth Nature Center.  Mid-Hudson ADK members enter free.  (Bring your membership card.)  Those joining the Adirondack Mtn. Club at this event will be reimbursed their $10 admission.
