Nearly 200 ADKers from all over participated in one or more events during our October 2-4 Fall Weekend celebration of the Hudson Valley/Catskill Mountain region. Persistent talk of a possible hurricane impacting our region (it didn’t, though we did get some rain on Saturday) did not thwart intrepid ADKers. Outings from Hudson River paddles, art gallery visits, Catskill mountain hikes, and a ramble on the Walkway Over the Hudson went off without a hitch.
Nearly100 enjoyed wine tasting at the Robibero Winery in New Paltz and 120 attended the President’s Dinner and Awards presentation on Saturday evening at the Hudson Valley Resort and Spa in Kerhonkson.
Our Mid Hudson Chapter Chair Dan Jones congratulates everyone, startng with committe chair Lalita Malik, who helped make the weekend such a rousing success. “Congratulations to Lalita, her team, the trip leaders and volunteers for showing the ADK world how good we are.”
Our chapter can be proud of setting a high standard for the Club’s Fall Outing.
