Three hardy souls joined Georgette Weir for a short (2 miles) stretch of the legs on a cold (15 degrees) but sunny and windless Sunday. The outing was delayed from the previous day owing to wind chill advisories. We donned our spikes and walked and chatted over a short loop, enjoying views through the winter trees to the Hudson River and the overlook over the Mid-Hudson Bridge and Poughkeepsie.
