Locust Grove Estate Walk

Six of us enjoyed a leisurely, pre-holiday party walk in the woods below Samuel Morse’s 19th-century home in Poughkeepsie. The woods were quiet, except for our conversation. The river was still, except for a small flock of mallards that were spotted swimming mid-river. We ended back at the visitors center in time to help set up tables, chairs, and decorations for the evening party. Joining Georgette W were Carla B, Sue M, Connie H, Ellen K, and Annette C.
