Major Welch/AT Loop, Bear Mountain

Six of us had a lovely day for a climb up Major Welch to Perkins Tower and views of NYC skyline. In the 70’s with low humidity, partly sunny, gorgeous clouds. We enjoyed lunch on the moon rocks with views of Queensboro Lake, Turkey Hill Lake & mountains. We hiked down the AT south before cutting over to AT north for the rest of the way.
