Sat, May 16 – Kayak Outing: Annsville to Bear Mt Bridge & Popolopen Creek

This was a joint outing with Kayaking the Liquid Skies meetup.
The launch location from Annsville Preserve park had to be changed to Peekskill which is 5 minutes away due to the gate being locked. All participants were called & told. We had a nice paddle north to the Bear Mt bridge & into Popolopen creek. We paddled to see the waterfall & then beached for a lunch break. After we paddled back. Total trip length 9 miles. ADK attendees Dave W and the leader, Linda Horton. Eight other kayakers joined from the meetup group.
