Fri, May 29 – Walkway Over the Hudson – Post Breakfast Promenade

The walk over the walkway the 29th of May was on a gorgeous warm clear day with no wind.  Margaret D, Ellen M and Howard S enjoyed the diner breakfast and joined Annette C for the just over 4 mile trek, starting from the diner out to the Poughkeepsie entrance and back.  Margaret had heard there was a plaque ‘near the elevator’ for Karen Flaherty, a long time ADK member who recently passed after bravely battling a long illness.   We missed it heading east, even took the elevator down and up in the search, then found it (about halfway between the flagpole and the elevator) on the way back.
