Six of us took a short hike on a very hot day, went into the 80’s, maybe even into the 90’s, but we had a little breeze on top now & then. No bugs, no rain, no snakes. A few wildflowers. Mountain laurel is looking good. Some had lunch by Split Rock & soaked feet; others headed home. Another great day in the woods. Hikers were Cindy C, Jean M, George K, Arthur G, Sharron C and the leader Ginny.
