Thu, Jul 9 – Hudson River Paddle Stockport

We meandered through the island in Stockport Creek until the water was too low and fast to proceed.  There was no meandering on the way back, though, as we quickly found ourselves in the Hudson River.  We paddled north past Stock Port Middle Ground and around Gay’s point – which, contrary to the name, is actually an island and not a point.
