Hike Bowdoin Park

Leader: Georgette Weir
November 28, 2020

A modestly early start at Dutchess County’s Bowdoin Park in Poughkeepsie enabled our group to beat the crowds and enjoy a sunny 4-mile meander through fields and woods, enjoying Hudson River views, identifying winter trees by their bark, gazing upward at the magnificent eagle’s nest, and being struck not-quite-speechless by the enormous sycamore/London plane tree north of the playground. Leader Georgette Weir was joined by Sayi, John, Connie, Ellen, Margaret, and Jean.
