  • The Club will provide hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, buns and condiments.
  • We are environmentally conscious, so we ask that you please bring your own plates, utensils, and water bottles/drinks.
  • You are welcome to bring a dessert, salad or side dish to share.

Guest Speaker
We are pleased to announce that Tom Lake will be a Guest Speaker at the picnic.

Tom Lake, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation estuary naturalist, and teacher of history will speak briefly to attendees. Tom is well known as editor of the Hudson River Almanac, a weekly, natural history newsletter available to all at https://www.dec.ny.gov/lands/25608.html.

Tom will speak about two “features” of Bowdoin Park for those of the outdoor mind: A Bald Eagle nest, and a prehistoric rockshelter that dates to 5,000 years ago. Each has a story.
