We met at the small parking lot at the trailhead. There wasn’t enough parking for everyone so one from our group graciously gave up her space for another since she lived nearby. Thank you, Kathleen Cheney!

The day was partly sunny and cool.  There were 5 hikers including the leader. We started on the loop trail through dense forest and along a brook which we crossed then made our way back to the trailhead.  We then crossed the street and started on another trail that took us to a beautiful overlook where we had lunch. We then headed back on the Green trail which was the loveliest of the trails according to all.  We traveled about 3 miles in all.  Everyone mentioned that they had a wonderful time and the weather was perfect.
