Fri, Jun 19 – Walkway Over the Hudson – Juneteenth – Post Breakfast Promenade

Connie H, Ellen K and Margaret D joined leader Annette C for the Friday breakfast with the diner crowd then walked to the walkway on a not too hot breezy beautiful day.  Connie had to leave when we got to the river, so 3 of us walked across then took the elevator down to the Upper Landing Park.  While Ellen re-charged there,  Annette and Margaret walked the path along the river as far as it goes, to where the Clearwater docks when in port at Poughkeepsie.  We re-joined Ellen for the trip back, up the elevator and walked to Highland. The waterfront path was a nice diversion and added about 1/2 a mile to the walk, making it just under 5 miles.
