Sun, Jul 5 – Hike Locust Grove Historic Site

In the aftermath of that July 4th natural fireworks of a storm, six of us hiked the trails at Locust Grove.  The hike quickly became a reconnaissance mission / cleanup what we could since many of the trails were inaccessible with debris, limbs and large trees down.  Three ADK members: Annette C (leader) Sayi N & Sue M along with 3 guests – Sue’s son Tzvi M, daughter-in-law Rachel M and grandson Even M (who we armed with clippers and gloves) hiked or attempted each trail on the estate.  It was a fun and productive outing!
