Thu, Jul 23  – MWH Schunemunk Ridge to Ridge

We had lunch in the shade on the Western Ridge Trail with views of the Catskills. We spent so much time meandering & eating/picking blueberries, we opted to cross over on Sweet Clover instead of Ridge to Ridge. Not as well traveled, not well maintained in spots & more rocks to climb, but we made it over to Jessup with views of the Hudson River and Hudson Highlands. Blue sky, in the 70’s, a little breeze once in a while and humidity wasn’t too bad. Photos by Cindy, Lalita & me. Another great day in the woods.
