Tue, Sep 8 – Volunteer & Senior Social & Walkway Hike

Twenty Two seniors & volunteers enjoyed pizza and ice cream on a perfect summers day, the day after Labor Day, September 8th. This event is held annually to thank our volunteers who lead outings and/or work on the board or committees, and the many senior members for continuing to support ADK. The camaraderie among attendees was genuine. Long time along with new friends socialized as planned with plenty of pizza, drinks and their ice-cream treat of choice. Annette C, Lalita M, Dave W, Carol G, Ellen M, Bill M & Barbara M walked on the Walkway Over the Hudson after in the relative cool of the late afternoon. Apart from the lantern fly infestation there (and everywhere) it was beautiful.
