The plan was to start & end at Lower Awosting. Started out on Mossy Glen on a cloudy day with no wind in the morning. Chilly to start, warmed up a little, but got colder in the afternoon. Peterskill had more water than expected. Some color along Mossy Glen, but a lot more up top in the old golf course & closer to the lake. Pretty even though muted without sunlight. Lunch behind a rock blocking the wind at the lake overlook. Hiked down to the top of Awosting Falls but not to the bottom. Another great day in the woods. Hikers were Jean M, Sharron C, Lisa M & the leader Ginny.
