Sat, Apr 4 – Kayak Outing: Bannerman’s Castle, Cold Spring, NY

This was a joint outing with Kayaking the Liquid Skies meetup.
This first paddle of the season on the Hudson River from Cold Spring to Bannerman’s Island was modified from the planned route to cross over to Plum Point.  The original plan was for 10 miles and the shorter route along the shore to Bannerman’s and back was 6.6 miles.  About one mile from the start, a group member discovered a leaking drysuit and the leader immediately assisted them back to the start.  The paddle continued with the co-leaders.   ADK paddlers were: Dave W, Jean-Claude F & Linda H.
