May 1’st appeared to be a blistery cold day, Margaret D went to the diner to meet up albeit late, I was already waiting at the Ulster gate, so she paid to park there which is a mother good reason to come early and meet at the diner.  And as it turned out we were steadily peeling the layers off as it was way warm and no wind, absolutely beautiful.  We walked all the way to the Poughkeepsie gate and back.
