Sun, Apr 12 – Spring Daffodil Bloom at Norrie Pt Hopeland Area & Vlei Marsh Preserve

Spring had sprung at the Hopeland Area and daffodils were in full bloom and everywhere.  These are wild ones, and they spread, each year if the timing is right you can see more and more.  Seven ADK members and one guest enjoyed the sights, and all but one of us headed to the second leg of this trip to nearby Vlei Marsh Preserve.  The cool morning melted into a warm breezy day.  We hiked the short trail and observed the many fairy houses and wooden characters that are created there.  Jeanette TB,  Jonathan B, Connie H, Ellen K, Carole M, Georgette W and guest Barb H joined leader Annette C.
